MISS UTAH'S OUTSTANDING TEEN, MISS TEXAS' OUTSTANDING TEEN, AND MISS ARKANSAS' OUTSTANDING TEEN WIN PRELIMINARY AWARDS

Miss Texas' Outstanding Teen Sydney Capello was named Thursday night's preliminary talent winner at the Linda Chapin Theater in the Orange County Convention Center during the third night of competition. Also in the spotlight were Miss Utah's Outstanding Teen, McKenna Marie Lewis and Miss Arkansas' Outstanding Teen Sloane Roberts, who won the preliminary awards for Sportswear and Evening Wear, respectively.

Miss America's Outstanding Teen's Princess Coronation
 

On Thursday afternoon, our Miss America's Outstanding Teen's Princesses were treated to a wonderful luncheon sponsored by Lorenzo Borghese of Royal Treatment Italian Pet Spa and learned helpful tips and tricks about etiquette from Deborah Kreiger of My Etiquette I.Q.
 
All 42 of our National Princesses were individually crowned by none other than Miss America, Kirsten Haglund, and Miss America's Outstanding Teen, Caitlin Brunell!!!
 

On the evening of Thursday, August 14th a crowd in Orlando, Florida was entertained by 9 talented performers from across the country as they faced-off for cash, prizes, fame and the opportunity to be a part of the National Finals of the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Pageant Production in the first annual Miss America's Outstanding Teen's Got Talent Competition!

The evening culminated in the announcement of the winner. Savannah Schechter from New Jersey wowed the crowd singing “Everybody Says Don't” from the Broadway show, “Anyone Can Whistle.” Savannah will join the winner of Wednesday night's talent competition, Samantha Janolo, in performing during the live Miss America's Outstanding Teen Pageant Finals on Saturday, August 16th at the Linda Chapin Theatre in Orlando.


ORLANDO, FL - Miss America's Outstanding Teen (MAOT) announced that Barbara Beery will be signing copies of her books at the MAOT Trade Show at 2pm on Friday, August 15th at the Rosen Centre Hotel. Beery also donated her Pink Princess Cookbook to all of the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Princesses that are participating in this year's pageant.

Expert cooking instructor and cookbook author Beery has created a book that will delight girls around the world, with sections including Perfect Princess Cakes and Cookies, Magical Princess Finger Foods, Fairy Princess Breads, Sweetest Princess Treats, and Sparkling Princess Drinks.
