Miss California's Outstanding Teen, Miss Arkansas' Outstanding Teen and
Miss North Dakota's Outstanding Teen Win Preliminary Awards

Miss Arkansas' Outstanding Teen, Sloane Roberts, was named Wednesday night's preliminary talent winner at the Linda Chapin Theater in the Orange County Convention Center during the second night of competition. Also in the spotlight were Miss North Dakota's Outstanding Teen, Ariana Walker, and Miss California's Outstanding Teen, Crystal Lee, who won the preliminary awards for Evening Wear and Sportswear, respectively.

On the evening of Wednesday, August 13th a crowd in Orlando, Florida was entertained by 9 talented performers from across the country as they faced-off for cash, prizes, fame and the opportunity to be a part of the National Finals of the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Pageant Production in the first annual Miss America's Outstanding Teen's Got Talent Competition!

The evening culminated in the announcement of the winner, Samantha Janolo, a 12-year-old honors student from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School in St. Cloud, Florida. A performer since the age of 4, Samantha has appeared in numerous community and school musicals and concerts including "Oliver!", "Seussical the Musical", and "A Day to C.A.R.E.". She has also starred as Annie in "Annie, Jr." and Lady Thiang in "The King and I".

Miss America's Outstanding Teen's Got Talent will name a second Miss America's Outstanding Teen's Got Talent winner at 6pm, Thursday, August 14th at the Linda Chapin Theatre.
